PORTER ROBINSON ANNOUNCES NURTURE LIVE AUSTRALIA TOUR FOR NOVEMBER
Acclaimed vocalist, songwriter and producer Porter Robinson has announced details of his first Australian tour in over 6 years. The tour celebrates his critically acclaimed album Nurture, and will take place in November, with stops in Sydney and Melbourne – see full dates below. The Nurture Live show features Porter singing and playing the piano and an array of digital instruments, accompanied by a stunning, carefully crafted visual production.
Performing at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on 6 November and Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on 10 November, the shows will step into a world where music becomes an ethereal experience.
Artist pre-sale tickets will kick off on Tuesday 25 July at 11am AEST, with a What’s Lively pre-sale beginning on Wednesday 26 July at 10am AEST, and a TEG LIVE / Ticketek / Venue pre-sale beginning Thursday 27 July at 10am AEST. General public ticket on-sale is set for Friday 28 July at 10am AEST from premier.ticketek.com.au.

Also on the schedule for the Australian tour are performances on the This That festival stage in Sandstone Point and Newcastle.

Porter Robinson has expanded the universe of electronic music for over a decade. In April 2021, Robinson brought Nurture, his first album in seven years, to life. Nurture was a commercial hit, topping the US Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart and marking Robinson’s second number one debut after 2014’s genre-defining Worlds. Robinson’s own festival, Second Sky, welcomed a sold-out crowd of 45,000 fans to the Oakland Arena Grounds in the fall of 2021, followed by ‘The Nurture Live Tour 2021’ spanning 38 dates across the United States. The Australian tour follows on from sold out UK, EU and Asian tour dates.
He has over one billion streams across his catalogue and over one million YouTube subscribers. His most recent single, ‘Everything Goes On’, in collaboration with Riot Games and League of Legends, has amassed over 40 million streams and charted in 18 countries on iTunes.

GEORGIA FLOOD SHARES NEW SINGLE ‘BLUE HONEY’
Floating with ethereal sensuality and lush electronic pop, the brand new single Blue Honey out today from Australian singer-songwriter and actress Georgia Flood silkily captures the gamut of anxiety with glassy and polished affability.
Following on from Georgia Flood’s country-dipped debut single Cowboy earlier this year, Blue Honey seamlessly embodies its cool and oozing namesake while also mingling Flood’s formative musical loves and eclectic inspirations, as she explains, “There isn’t a clear influence for Blue Honey, even when I sent a reference playlist to my producer Matt Curtin, it was a very diverse list, artists including, Alannah Myles, Fred Again, Róisín Murphy, and Lucinda Williams. This was the challenge of Blue Honey, I couldn’t really find anything that would describe what I wanted to create. My loves are electronic music, pop and country, and with this track we tried to make a blend.”
Teaming up with producer Matt Curtin, who also took on mixing and mastering duties for Blue Honey, Flood welds her crystalline vocals across palpitating, humid beats, ambient instrumentation and hauntingly sensual melodics. But beneath the after-dark pop sensibilities, Blue Honey also powerfully displays the realities of anxiety beyond the stereotypical traits, with Georgia Flood’s own creative identity firmly at the wheel. “Blue Honey is about the experience of anxiety,” reveals Georgia Flood of her latest sonic outing. “As an artist, I would have to say I have a caring, messy, 17-tabs-open-at-once-mindset, and loud…but also sometimes really quiet”. And it’s these multi-faceted attributes that effortlessly bolster Blue Honey alongside its sleek production and Georgia Flood’s sharp lyricism, declaring: “She keeps the lights on at night / So they won’t try / Take a look / Or go inside / Her colourful mind.”
Starting her musical journey at a young age, taking up the piano, violin and singing as a child, Georgia Flood was raised by her parents on a musical diet of classical music, K.D. Lang, Van Morrison and Shania Twain. Carrying her early passion into her teens, Georgia Flood soon delved into electronic music, before picking up the guitar at the age of 14 and discovering the music software Reason via her high school music teacher; and the rest, as they say, was history. Also an established and accomplished actress, making her onstage debut with the Melbourne Theatre Company before going on to appear on House Husbands, Wentworth and American Princess, Georgia Flood will next be seen on screens worldwide in the Disney+ TV series Nautilus, due out in December this year.
Previously garnering praise for her polished and modern take on the country pop realms, Georgia Flood’s musical journey continues to unfold in compelling and stylistically expanded fashion, and Blue Honey is another beautiful piece of the Georgia Flood creative puzzle unfurling in 2023. And, as Georgia Flood concludes, her relatable-yet-glossy creations bring tangible art to life; a fact inspired by the late great Carrie Fisher herself: “There’s this amazing line from a film written by Carrie Fisher called, Post Cards from the Edge, where Meryl Streep says to Gene Hackman “I don’t want life to imitate art, I want life to be art.”. I’ve always loved that quote. That pretty much sums up what I’m about.”

GRETTA ZILLER SHARES NEW SINGLE ST LOUIS NEW ALBUM ALL THESE WALLS DUE OUT FRIDAY AUGUST 25 – PRESAVE NOW
Draped in sunny melodics and buoyant brassy hues, the brand new single St Louis from the Golden Guitar-nominated Melbourne powerhouse Gretta Ziller is a grooving, moving wonderland of rock, pop, Americana and blues. Marking a sparkling peek into Ziller’s upcoming third album, All These Walls due out Friday August 25, St Louis will also be witnessed live in action imminently, with Ziller hitting the road extensively throughout August, September and November.
An exuberant celebration of soul-tinged goodness complete with glowing production and affable melodics, St Louis also showcases a formidable array of guest musicians lending Hammond organ and keys, saxophones, trumpet, pedal steel guitars and backing vocals alongside Ziller’s commanding yet sumptuous vocal delivery throughout. A song many years in the making, St Louis also embraces and pays homage to Ziller’s own creative history, as she explains, “St. Louis the song had been on my mind and in my heart to write for a number of years. I had written a few versions of this song before a song club prompt gave me the excuse to finally finish the version we recorded. The song expresses my gratitude to all the songs, and the writers of those songs, that shaped my musical influences. In particular, the first song I performed for an audience; St. Louis Blues written by W.C Handy.”
A passionate storyteller and songwriter, Gretta Ziller not only teamed up with an army of fellow musicians on St Louis; she also amassed multiple talents alongside her own to bring All These Walls to life, while also working alongside producers Paul Ruske, who has worked with the likes of Kyle Lionheart and Skyscraper Stan, and Rob Muinõs, whose previous work spans Didirri, Little May, Dorsal Fins and more. Stylistically inspired by a potent array of influences, including Bishop Briggs, Rag n Bone Man, Tom Petty, Foy Vance, Alabama Shakes and HAIM, All These Walls follows in the footsteps of Ziller’s earlier works, including 2021’s Judas Tree and 2017’s Queen of Boomtown, while firmly showcasing joyful creative evolution alongside a significantly thriving core message summed up by Ziller herself: “The main themes on All These Walls are love, self believe and self-worth …with a hint of self-doubt cause we can’t be too cheery!”
Case in point, All These Walls opens in silken fashion via Cross My Fingers, morphing into a sharp ode to facing one’s demons complete with modern gloss and hints of twanging charm, before sliding into maudlin beauty on the wistful and winsome Dear Damascus. Effortlessly flitting between gossamer restraint and powerful glee, Ziller’s mesmerising vocals thrive throughout the album’s journey, from jaunty, bold tracks coated in brass (Ain’t Even Your Lover), to heart-rending country ballads (Whole) and anthemic stompers brimming with positivity (Bones). In between moments of mellowed beauty (Golden Days, Who Knows) and lush modern production, witnessed in spades on the album’s very title track, Ziller’s capacity to concoct authentic narratives alongside glistening guitars, warm melodics and an unmistakable alt-country flavour shines loudly and proudly, effortlessly baring her soul with self-awareness and captivating compositions – and, ultimately, an unmistakable love for her craft.
A critically acclaimed, classically trained artist, Ziller’s career to date has seen her accrue two Golden Guitar nominations, with her single 5,4,3,2,1also currently sitting just shy of 500K individual streams on Spotify alone. Destined for a life in the creative arts, Ziller was able to whistle before she could talk, hailing as the token musician in a family of farmers and going on to take up the violin when she was just 2 years old. Picking up other instruments along the way, including the bagpipes, Ziller went on to complete a Bachelor of Music at Melbourne University, majoring in voice and starting her musical career as an opera singer and teaching the notoriously complex art that is the bagpipes.
Over the years, Ziller’s potent talents have garnered resounding praise with each new release, including two full length albums, an acoustic album and her debut EP which released back in 2014. Armed with a sharp self-awareness alongside her irresistible blend of modern Americana, blues and beyond, 2020 saw Ziller support Australian legends Ian Moss and Troy Cassar-Daley for their 2020 Together Alone tour, a tour which remains one of her career highlights to date. But the talented Melbourne artist also continues to burgeon her own individual fanbase alongside her trademark sound, with the release of All These Walls set to stun both on and off the stage, as Ziller concludes, “Most of my upcoming live shows are acoustic solo, so in those shows you’ll get to know me and the stories around my songs.
