This Sanctuary announce the release of new single, ‘I Do’
Sydney pop rockers This Sanctuary have announced their new single, I Do set for release on July 19 and will be celebrating with an east coast run of shows and festivals throughout August and September. The new single is lifted from the band’s forthcoming album, Keep Talking, Please which is due to hit stores in late August.
After first single Rumour picked up solid airplay around the country late last year, second single I Do will be serviced to Australian media on Monday July 8. “The single tells a story of two lovers who are separated for long periods of time which is soo relatable to the members of our band as we’re often away from home,” explains lead vocalist Renee Sieff. The song begins sweetly and quickly builds to become a belting pop rock number with a huge international sound, heralded by Sieff’s powerful and unique vocals.
“We’re so excited to show everybody this new single as it really offers a great taste of what is to come on our new album. We love giving our fans something new to experience, so hopefully they will really enjoy this!”
Armed with a kaleidoscope of musical and cultural backgrounds (Ben and Brendan are Malaysian, Sam Fijian, Neil South African and Renee Egyptian), This Sanctuary have already set a buzz across the world with their high energy and enviable live show, even securing a performance on the main stage at the global music conference, Music Matters in Singapore and Indonesia’s biggest rock festival, Java Rockin’land.
Influenced by day-to-day experiences and bands such as Paramore, Four Year Strong and Fall Out Boy, the band’s resulting music is an eclectic fusion of meaningful pop songs that has awakened and resonated with a global fanbase. Next up on their to do list is Australia!
