Bringing their raucous live set and phenomenal production, the tour will hit Australia in November, kicking off in Brisbane at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on November 20, before moving through Sydney to play Hordern Pavilion on November 22, Margaret Court Arena on November 23 and finishing up in Adelaide at Adelaide Entertainment Centre on November 24.

Following sold-out shows across the globe, the RUSH! World Tour continues the band’s march towards global domination. On what it means to take their raucous live set to Australia, Måneskin enthuse, “We can’t wait to come to Australia, it will be the first time for all of us so we’re pretty much curious about everything, especially the crowd. It feels crazy to finally be able to meet our fans there!”
Armed with a 2023 Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, Måneskin’s RUSH! world tour will see them headline arenas across the US and Canada, including a landmark show at New York’s historic Madison Square Garden. They’ll be crossing continents to rock their way around South America, Japan, Singapore, Germany, France, the UK and Ireland.
The RUSH! World Tour will follow on from Måneskin’s ongoing LOUD KIDS World Tour which continues to see them sell out shows globally and play to over 500,000 fans. With over twenty sold out shows still to come on their current tour, and Australia’s first stop – Brisbane marking their twentieth show on the RUSH! tour, there is no denying we are in for an absolute treat when this iconic act heads down under. Notorious for their stomping live show, it’s no secret the band love winning over new audiences, with Måneskin firing up, “We want to thank our fans in Australia, we are coming for you! Expect fire, stage smashings and lots of sweat!”
The full throttle Måneskin live show has already travelled to over 25 countries between Europe, North America, South America and Japan in 2022, saw the band go back to their beloved Rome for an extra special sold out show at the historic Circo Massimo with 70,000 tickets sold, and between headline shows the band dominated festival stages around the world including Coachella, Rock in Rio, Lollapalooza (Chicago, Paris and Sweden), Rock Im Park and Rock Am Ring, Rock Wertcher, Summer Sonic in Japan and more.
Before hitting the road again for the RUSH! World Tour, the band will play 5 special stadium shows in their beloved Italy in July with more than 220,000 tickets already sold. And alongside both tours, Måneskin will be commanding stages at Glastonbury and Primavera Sound.
The RUSH! tour follows the band’s new album of the same name, released in January 2023 to global acclaim and chart domination, reaching #1 in 15 countries and Top 5 in 20 countries, and garnering over 800 million global album streams, adding to the band’s impressive 7.3 billion global artist streams.
Tickets to the RUSH! Australian leg go on sale Friday March 24 at 9am local time.

LARKIN POE SET TO APPEAR AT BLUESFEST 2023 + SIDE SHOWS IN SYD & MELB, WITH SECOND MELB SHOW ANNOUNCED FOR CORNER HOTEL
Marking their second visit down under, roots rock sister act Larkin Poe are set to return to Australia this April, bringing their Blood Harmony tour to Sydney and Melbourne, alongside an appearance at the mecca of all things blues and roots: Byron Bay Bluesfest. With two performances at Bluesfest’s 2023 edition on Thursday 6 April and Friday 7 April lined up, as well as Bluesfest sideshows at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Sunday 9 April and a sold out show in Melbourne at Croxton Bandroom on Monday 10 April, the pair have also added an extra date for the city of laneways, bringing a bonus night of their energetic Southern sonic flavours to Melbourne’s iconic Corner Hotel on Tuesday 11 April.
Inspired by music of the 60s and 70s, including the likes of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac and The Allman Brothers Band, Larkin Poe, comprised of sisters Rebecca and Megan Lovell, also pay homage to some of the greatest turn-of-the-century blues artists, with Son House, Skip James and Muddy Waters amongst the heady mix that collide into Larkin Poe’s trademark sound. Bringing scintillating modernity with a Southern-fried twist to their roots‘n’roll sonic leanings, the pair’s upcoming performances will offer Australian fans a chance to catch these multi-instrumental mavericks live in action once again, after the Lovell sisters wowed crowds back in 2019 for their debut Bluesfest appearance. “It’s been a long time in the making, y’all – we are super excited to be coming back to Bluesfest this year and to be bringing our Blood Harmony tour Down Under!” the band share of their impending return to Aus. “Our last time in Australia was our first time ever; this time we know what fun we’re in for – Aussies really know how to rock out to some good music! That’s what we live for.”
Armed with their recent album Blood Harmony for these upcoming Aussie appearances, fans will also be able to witness some new Larkin Poematerial live for the very first time. Co-produced alongside Texas-bred musician, and husband of Rebecca, Tyler Bryant, Blood Harmony is a vivid and captivating jolt of fresh air, equally snapshotting the group’s trademark sonic identity in Southern rock territory, while also harnessing sharpened storytelling, heightened vigour and permeating female empowerment. And as if it wasn’t already a thrill to have Larkin Poe back in town next month, audiences in Australia are in for a bonus treat, with the pair set to perform plenty of new songs, as well as some reimagined versions of some older fan faves, as the pair reveal, “We’re gonna be playing songs from our album Blood Harmony along with newly reworked old favourites. Fans can expect a super energetic, raw and real show. We love to connect with people and ride a wavelength together through music. We hope folks will show up with open hearts and singing voices ready!”
Boasting a horde of high-profile admirers for their unforgettable live performances, including Bob Seger and Russell Crowe, Larkin Poe have also previously toured as backing artists for an array of industry icons, including Elvis Costello and Keith Urban. Continuing to thrive under their Larkin Poe project moniker as the world has emerged out of the pandemic lockdown years, the duo closed out 2020 with two albums, Self Made Man and Kindred Spirits, before diving into creating the painstakingly crafted Blood Harmony. Now poised and stacking up a massive year ahead, Larkin Poe may boast big Spotify and YouTube numbers, but the talented pair effortlessly retain their spellbinding and authentic Southern charm and hospitality – and a Larkin Poe live show is definitely not one to be missed.
Tickets are on sale now.

CHAVEZ CARTEL SHARE NEW SINGLE + VIDEO ‘DEAD WEEKEND’
Liven up your day with a sonic cocktail of hazy guitars, moody melodics, and sultry swagger courtesy of the brand new single Dead Weekend out now from Gold Coast rockers Chavez Cartel.
A track that would equally be at home soundtracking a slick HBO series as much as it appears to unfurl like a shot of single-malt whisky, Dead Weekend finds Chavez Cartel teaming up with ARIA Award-winning producer Govinda Doyle on recording and engineering duties to bring this dark and blazing tune to vivid life. Drawing inspiration from two key hypnotic, slow-burning tracks, Colossus by British rockers IDLES and In Every Dream Home A Heartache by Roxy Music, Dead Weekend also pulsates with nods to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club alongside deep and mature self-exploration, as the band elaborates, “Dead Weekend is all about deep self-reflection. It’s about everything we have been through to get us to where we are now – the current version of ourselves. No matter how low we allow ourselves to go in life, it’s always ultimately up to us to pick ourselves back up, and it’s also up to us on how high we are able to climb. Dead Weekend is all about that. And if you’re to look at that notion fully, it’s also up to us how to decide how low we allow ourselves to fall in the first place. Dead Weekend is brutal in its take on self-accountability, but it admits that it’s all part of the act. The title of the song is sort of like a grim way of looking at growing the fuck up and sorting out your life from the pit of the stomach. When we are younger, we tend to live for the weekend, but Dead Weekend is about the stage of life a little later on when we’re looking to live for a lot, lot more.”
Perfectly complementing the sonic flavours on display, the accompanying music video for Dead Weekend is deliciously dark and equally hypnotic. With Nathan Frost helming the clip as director of photography and producer, whose work also extends to music videos for Tory Forsyth and Bad Pony, and film work on Aquaman, Alien Covenant, Pirates of the Caribbean and Thor Ragnarok, the end result is a finely-tuned work of art – but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s a lyric video, as the band explains, “The concept of the video is very much inspired by the concept of the song. We wanted it to be dark, minimalistic, and hypnotic and for it to all be in one place. The idea of keeping the camera up close to Ben’s face throughout means the viewers have nowhere really to look except where we want them to: directly into the eyes and soul of the storyteller, which is essentially what the song is about – looking into the mind and soul through different eyes and moods. There’s a lot of words in the song that suggest really delicate, perhaps desperate, inner dialogue; words like “pray” and “praying”, “fear”, “believing”, “toxic”, “control”, we really wanted the viewer to be right up close to these intensities. There’s lyrics running through the video that could be mistaken for subtitles. This is deliberate. We wanted the viewer to feel like they were being spoken to directly. Almost like a therapy session and the viewer is the therapist interpreting the words in their own way. It’s important they hear the right words which is why we added lyrics into the video – but it’s equally as important they make their own minds up on what we’re actually saying. It’s a mysterious-sounding song to be fair, and this was our attempt at adding that to the visual.”
Spending the past 12+ months honing their sound and crafting a new batch of music, Dead Weekend is the perfect addition to both 2023 and Chavez Cartel’s ever-growing catalogue. A group equally enamoured by music as they are with art and food, Chavez Cartel, comprised of four self-described “working class dreamers”, firmly embrace the loose acronym for the word “Chavez” with every creative move they make – aka “Can Have it All Very EaZily”. Constantly spurring themselves to surge forward, their relentless hard work has also led to the group working with a UK record label and ultimately, as of this year, ticking off an exciting career first: their first ever overseas tour, with festivals and side shows lined up in the UK this May. And before they trek across the pond, Chavez Cartel will also appear as the main support for UK rockers, and current UK and Ireland #1 Album Chart toppers, The Reytons, with a show in Sydney next month. And as to what fans at home and abroad can expect from a 2023 Chavez Cartel live show. “We try to make sure all our shows have big energy and big sound,” the band conclude, “but we’re really excited by all this it’s our first time being booked overseas so the enthusiasm is through the roof. We don’t really know what to expect…us on steroids, I guess!
Dead Weekend is out today, Friday March 3.
